Free Domain Registration

Domain name registration and the first year fee is included in all Web design packages.  You can chose your unique domain name (yourname.com), and we will register it for you.  You can search for an available domain name by using our Domain Search application, the advanced search tab allows you to combine together two words to find a unique domain names . After you have selected a domain name, supply it with your Web design and hosting order we will register and configure it for you in your name.   Subsequent years can be registered for only $12 per year.

Chose the ending of yourname  from .com  .net .org .us .biz .info (see below for details of common usage).

How To Chose Your Name

You should be careful not to chose a name that is already trademarked.  For example MacDonald would not look kindly to you choosing Macdonald.biz if it was available.  Here is a useful external link for a Free online trademark search.

Conventions For Use

• .com - used for commercial and personal sites.
• .net - companies involved in Internet infrastructure.
• .org - non-profit organizations.
• .us - any U.S. citizen or resident, as well as any business or organization, including federal, state, and local government with a bona fide presence in the United States.
• .biz - commercial businesses.
• .info - completely unrestricted, for use by everyone from businesses to government agencies to individuals.

Domain Name Rules:

• Use only letters, numbers, or dash ("-").
• Cannot begin or end with a dash.
• Domain names are not case sensitive.
• Domain names cannot include spaces.
• Should not exceed 63 characters Note: many Internet applications can't support over 26 characters (extension not included).
